The stairs into the cave, where the Buddist devotees prayed at the altar; deep inside.This temple was founded in the 10th-11th centuries according to the tourguide; and no one knows who built it or its origin.Honestly, i was puzzled too.. wonder if there is any civilization here before. The cave is on top of a mountain, deep inside a thick forest * hard to conquer* and who could ve built it there?? The opening to the cave looks like a dragon's mouth.... The Vietnamese will make pilgrimage to Perfume pagoda where they pray for health,wealth at this temple at least for once in their lifetime

Poor porcuppine cuddled together.. oh man.. they are to be served on the table soon as "meal".. gosh :( There were many authentic local delicacies ie roasted wild cats, mouse, deers hanged on each food stall.. i wasnt on a fear factor stunt trip.. no way

There were so many "red sampans" by the river. The boatman paddled us upstream along "Yuen river" for approx an hour.. the view was breathtaking at first.. great experience.. but after 20 minutes later.. i start to feel bored.. duh! Just me..

The journey to Halong Bay port took us 3 hours.. which was a long~ long journey. Along the way, we saw many padi rice field and our tour guide Kenny explained that Vietnamese buried their ancestor at the padi field.. as they can see the ancestor and take care of the graves.. wow..

Our junk named ManHan was a medium size junk.. and it cruised slowly along the Halong Bay. Most of the time, we were on the deck.. admiring the scenic Halong Bay, feeling the cool breeze- quite cool... As for lunch, we stopped by a floating kelong and had luncheon on the boat
