Mount Sorak 17th Oct 06: Woke up early today and had my simple english breakfast.Quite a long journey bus ride to Mount Sorak National park.I was so suprised, the place was filled up with many local people "old grandpa and grandma".. everyone seems equipped with gears to climb the mountain. pretty fit!!. To conquer the mountain, i took a simple short cut "cable -car"..its my nature to be scared of height.. taking a square cable car which accomodate apprx 50 ppl was quite scary.. LOL, i felt much better when they played some err..backstreets boy love song in it. "pretty lame"..Not that bad..at all :)... my era.. my era.
On the way climbing to the top its reddish in "decorated by the maple leaves"..Its "autumn".. :) Then, we reached the rocky area. Really had cold feet, i can see the steep cliff "ungated".. no boundaries at all..just too dangerous..

At the national park ,there was a huge Buddha statue ;where people workshipped and drank the "longevity water".. from the fountain. Crossed some white stones bridges which were known for cleansing the heart.." i guess, i do need it"..:) crossed few of them.
Hmm.. strolling around some temples..very similar to chinese architectures i would say. Then, its lunch time.. "mushroom steamboat"..was quiet fascinated by the term -thought i would be eating colorful mushroom like in cartoon smufF. Wat the heck..i m a carnivor.. i want meat!!!

16th Oct 06: Whats for lunch.. "soupy Korean Ginseng Chicken" in a hot boiling claypot.. inside the chicken was sticky rice. And i was supposed to eat with noodles and some ginseng wine to add more taste.. yummy not that bad.." can i add more salt?? Next destination, MBC studio shooting ground "Dae Changum".. kinda impressed with the kitchen and the miniature palace and the tradisional village next to it..

The Blue House

Korean WorldCup 2002 Stadium
16th Oct 06' : Reached Incheon International Airport approx 7-8 am? Duh.. i hate tourr.. waiting for 30 ppls to wash up and get ready was really killing me.Salute to the tour guide.. must be a patient sheperd to take care of the notti little lambs. What's interesting in airport.. Huge " chrysanthemum".. as big as my head!!..looks like their favorite flower.
First destination Korean WorldCup 2002 Stadium, the area was once a garbage dump developed into the nation proud of asset. Cute mascot

15th Oct 06' : 2 blur fishes almost missed the KLIA express train.. LOL. I was so panic at that point as we were just so late -we had family dinner at Brickfield " my favorite eating spot".. I recalled there was some Indian functions going on hence the huge crowd just got us stuck in the car.. queuing up to KL central.Anyway... chasing the train " on my 1st ever trip with Kok Seng".. one word shocking!!!

Hmm.. wat should i say bout Korean air.. "beauu-ti ful" air stewardess.. they look so perfect and alike ~ wat a clone!! I dun mind, to be plastic .. wink~

Geongbukkung Palace, i was expecting a huge gigantic compound with big structures and complex carvings. Well, i was wrong.. :)

Naomi Island 16 Oct 06' The last journey for the day. Took a small ferry ride approx 10 mins cruising along the river.I like the breeze.. just so relaxing.Nami island is named after a great general "Nami".. whom denounced as traitor... blaa.. blaa..but as actually a hero. From the wharf walking straight lead us to rows of trees..that's the romantic pathway in korean drama 'winter sonata'..

Vongdoam -DragonHead Rock ( Jeju island).

Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak rose from under the sea in a volcanic eruption about 100,000 years ago. I was cheated by the tour guide whom claimed i'll get free chilled tea once i reached the top served by beautiful korean girls. What the heck, on the summit there is only a huge crater filled with plants and it was just so windy.. not bad

MokSukWon Park ( Jeju Island) is an unusual collection of over 1500 rocks and dried tree roots that have been naturally sculpted to resemble various animal and human forms. Jeju island was once known as the widow island. By profession most of the men in the island were fisherman, as many didnt make it home devoured by the rough sea, leaving behind their wife and family. This is a statue commonly seen in front of Jeju's house. Its a symbol of god to protect the home from any evil.

Everland is like any other amusement park ive been, i quite like the 4 season gardens as i m a flower lover especially the rose.
The theme for the park for autumn was "Halloweens" where huge harvested pumpkins were on display. There is an inhouse safari to see many wild animals "live" from the bus; its an eye opening experience to see "Liger", the cross breed between Lion and Tiger

Cheonjeyeon Waterfall in Jeju Island, named 'The pond of God', consists of 3 parts. Unfortunately we didnt get to see the helicopter view from above. What is special there.. basically nothing.. there is a nice walkway, very serene atmosphere with many trees. In the natural pond lives many eels
