Took a red taxi trucks, or "songthews" to Doi Suthep, the journey was approx 25 mins. Doi Suthep is famous for its relic tale, where a white elephant carried the relic all the way up the mountain. From the temple( peak) can see the whole Chiang Mai city

There are a wide variety of local food sold at the Kalare Bazaar food court, the Anusarn market sell fresh seafoods.
The most interesting goods there, are cute arts- i found some handmade felt cuties .. yippeee























Its so "me", the bazaar is a good place for window shoppings, those whom enjoy endless bargaining and the so intrigue me with art works.Our hotel is just next to the bazaar, 2 mins walk - kinda strategic place to stay for short trip. Every night, start at 6pm - 12 pm the streets and market are flooded with tourist, after a tiring walk our usual activities was Thai massage..

Had "wawee coffee", quenching the thirst after strolling around the old city. Chiang Mai is very much a safe and friendly place.. was mistaken 3-4 times as local Thai from the Northern..
Wat Ku Tao was the last temple we went, before leaving for Borsang "San Kam pheang" the handicraft highway. Ku Tao is built by the Burmese hence architecture wise potrayed different ethnics personalities and culture

































The wall inside the temple is painted red as the background, the gold painting tells story silently
Wat Chiang Man with a 700 years of history, built by the Lanna Thai founder King Mengrai.
