Highly recommended, Impression Westlake is directed by famous Zhang Yi Mou and music is by Kitaro. The choreography skills is superb.. i love the dance..

Didnt know that Xi Hu is that big, the lake is basically surrounded by lots of park and garden ( all look the same hahaha)..During spring, you may see plum blossom.. adding more colors to it. Weather is superb.. very cold around 16 degree in the morning and 8 degree at night. Our mission is simple, to complete the walk along Su Causeway..

I only know General Su by its famous dish " Dong po pork"..but, now i know him more as a great poet, artist..wow..

Unplanned agenda: Never expect to see tulips in HZ.. but luck is really with us. We were watching the local chinese news and learnt that Westlake PrinceBay Garden has full bloom of tulips.. gosh, i felt like in KeuKonhof Holland.. LOL

This is where the Mission Impossible III movie shooting took place. Not a big fans of Tom Cruise.. so, wat the heck!

Nothing much to do in Xi Tang.. just laid back and relax.. drink tea and eat by the river.. The whole area has covered corridor " good for rainy weather" and its worth to experience walking in the dark and narrow lane around the old town. I found the locals there as friendly and nice ppl. :)

Day 2#, we took a bus to Xi Tang which is in Jiashan county. The journey took us 1.5 hours..no doubt China is still into agriculture.. It is spring, so you can see the land is covered with yellow flower from far.. " learnt from the locals it is the vegetable flower.. and its harvest season soon.

Went to China to explore my root.. all this while, i always have the mindset to only visit China during my retire age ( may be i learnt that from the elderly). I am absolutely wrong..that is so vain!!

i found china as a very beautiful place, scenic and rich of well preserved historical building, cultures, hand-crafts.. and folklores..

This round, i have new travel partners "Mic and Hilde".. i need to confess.. "banana" like me cant survive long in China as everything is in mandarin. At one point, i felt alien and useless but thanks to the sisters whom did enuff R&D and too accomodating to make me felt comfortable and not lost again.

Day 1#.. reached HZ airport ( dont expect me to put a name to it~ coz i dunno) at 11 pm++, and took a cab to Ming Tang hostel. Gosh, highly recommended to all budget travellers.. the location is just so stragetic by the Westlake *Xihu*..cheap and clean. Problem is ; you only get hot water heater up till 1 am.. so, obviously Day 1 is "mandi kerbau".. for us!! LOL
